New Air Routes & Connectivity Advantage.

New Air Routes and Connectivity delivers logistical and commercial intelligence, translating new airline routes and capacity increases into immediate, actionable package opportunities.

New air routes dictate commercial opportunities and directly influence package design. In a key logistical enhancement for the South Indian outbound market, IndiGo is launching daily direct flights between Thiruvananthapuram (TRV) and Malé, Maldives, starting October 26, 2025 . This route makes Maldives travel significantly more accessible for clients based in Kerala, adding competition to the existing flights from Kochi, and creating a lucrative strategic advantage, known as the Maldives Leverage, allowing targeted, short, luxury weekend packages to be launched .

Cochin International Airport (COK) is also expanding its domestic role, planning for 1500 weekly flights in the winter 2025-26 schedule. New domestic services include Star Air launching four weekly flights to Bengaluru, and Akasa Air and IndiGo introducing daily services to Navi Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Furthermore, international access is improving KLM launched Amsterdam-Hyderabad services in September 2025, and a new regional carrier, Alhind Air, plans a late 2025 launch focusing on improving interconnectivity within the southern Indian states.
